Positive: It was our first experience at a Spanish all inclusive resort (and probably our last). Stayed 1 week, for a family holiday (we booked 4 rooms). We upgraded to a spa suite. It was a nice extra and worth the extra money. Although the water got dirty /dusty very quickly so we needed to manage how we used it. The room was one of the largest we have ever had, (and we are well travelled). Beds were comfortable. Food was to be expected, varied but not amazing quality or presentation. But there was oportunity to have an afternoon snack as well, and a sweet bar for the kids. The staff were friendly and helpful (although i was surprised the restaurant/bar staff generally spoke no other languages). No German or English. Mainly French and Spanish, which i thought was odd. The entertainment team tried their best but the place isnt set up to help them. The gym is good. As is the indoor spa (but you need a swimming hat). The place was generally clean. It was also quiet in the night! The water park was walking distance. We were allowed to check-in early and checkout late. We are grateful for that, thank you!
Negative: The opening hours of the bars was poor (11am-11pm). Only one bar open at any one time and there was a lack of bar staff. Only 1 bartender working at any one time (this seemed deliberate). All inclusive offered only a discount on some food (ice) and drinks. No shade on the room balcony. Sadly the A/C was useless. Whilst i appreciate we stayed in August, the whole place was so warm inside. I slept outside on the balcony several nights. Even at Breakfast the restaurant is very warm and it was not very pleasant to sit in the inside bar most evenings. It was the same in all our rooms One lifeguard liked the ladies a bit too much and another lifeguard, when a child (poo'ed in the main pool), he simply told us to report it to reception), which then took several hours before it was actually closed off! No facilities near the baby pool. And the other three pools were very small, which was a bad design considering the hotel size. Only 1 free entrance is allowed to the onsite spa / wellness. There is very little shade throughout the complex so using the tennis / paddle courts, or pool tables is only safe first thing in the morning or last thing at night. Hotel is quite far out from the town. The nearest beach is about a 20 minute walk (very nice though), and the closest off-site bar is about 10 minutes. We did not find any Supermarkets closeby. Overall, i felt this was poor value for money. I paid less per person for an all inclusive beach resort in the UAE last year!
